To support our children with additional needs we develop the children’s knowledge and skills in line with the school’s vision for a knowledge and skills based curriculum.
We inspire creativity by being flexible with our expectations, and providing a range of alternative ways to access learning.
We encourage discovery by allowing our children to take risks, and valuing the learning not just the outcome.
We foster curiosity and allow our children to enjoy and share their areas of special interest.
We develop independence by providing the children with the tools and confidence they need to achieve, and the space to try by themselves.
We instil resilience by helping our children to discover how they learn best, and how to use their own learning styles to approach a task.
As a result, the children respect and value all subjects, and are lifelong learners.
