Curriculum Intent Statement for PHSE & RSE
In PSHE, we develop the children’s Knowledge and Skills in line with the school’s vision for Knowledge and Skills based curriculum.
We inspire Creativity through a range of teaching styles and resources.
We encourage Discovery through learning about the world, locally, nationally and globally and how we are part of a community.
We foster a Curiosity through posing and exploring questions and different answers.
We develop Independence through using role play or by examining scenarios in order for children to be prepared for life and work.
We instil Resilience through exploring scenarios and consequences, empowering children to make their own decisions to keep themselves well and safe.
As a result the children Respect and Value PSHE and are Lifelong learners.
