St Peter's Catholic Primary School

Loving and Learning together, with Jesus.

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for all your wonderful gifts and kind words. You have been so generous and we really appreciate it. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the children and working alongside them this year. Thank you again and we hope you have a lovely, restful Summer.

Miss Squibb and Miss Lewis

Dear Parents,

If you have any toilet rolls or kitchen roll tubes at home, we would be extremely grateful if you could please send these in for us to use on Tuesday.

We would both like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support this year. We have thoroughly enjoyed teaching your children this year and are sad that our time together is nearly over. We hope you all have a lovely, relaxing summer.

Best wishes,

Miss Squibb and Miss Lewis

Dear parents,

Next week, on Tuesday, we are going to be making musical instruments. We would be really grateful if you could please supply your child with some resources for this such as: pasta, rice, plastic containers, cardboard boxes, elastic bands, cellotape, tin cans etc. Please discuss with your children your initial ideas. What instrument could they make? How could they attach it all? How would they play it?

Thank you in advance,

Miss Squibb and Miss Lewis

Sports day

Dear Parents,

As you are aware, it is Sports Day on Friday. For our novelty race, the theme will be the World Cup. If you have any World Cup team Football tops, we would be most grateful if we could borrow them for the day.

Many thanks,

Miss Squibb and Miss Lewis.

Hyde Hall School Trip Monday 25th June

Just a reminder it is our school trip on Monday. Please send the children in their school uniform as normal. The children will need to bring in a packed lunch with them and plenty to drink. Please ensure all food and drink is disposable (no chocolate, no fizzy drinks etc.). Please ensure you have applied sun cream and children have taken any necessary medication (e.g. hay fever). It is recommended the children wear their St. Peter's sun hats. Children do not need to bring in any money for this trip. Thank you.

Sports day Friday 29th June

As we are sure you are aware, it is Sports Day on Friday. The children will need to wear a coloured t-shirt for their house point team (red, blue, green or yellow) as well as trainers. Please ensure the children are wearing sun cream, their St. Peter's sun hats and have plenty to drink. Thank you.
